How to find us

We are located in Cardiff Medicentre on the site of the University Hospital of Wales (UHW).

Our location is convenient for the major road, air and rail transport links serving South Wales. In addition, the Heath Park site is very well served by Cardiff Bus and Park and Ride services. Taxis are readily available and can be ordered through us for visitors making their return journeys.

Parking

Please note: parking is not available at the Medicentre itself. There is free visitor parking available within walking distance on the UHW site in the designated 'patient and visitor' zones.

Visitor parking is for a maximum of 8 hours. As the majority of our courses exceed this time we encourage those travelling by car to use the Park and Ride service which is free, or use public transport if staying locally to avoid receiving any parking notices.

By air

The nearest airport is Cardiff International Airport. Regular bus services run from this airport into Cardiff city centre. Taxis are also available for direct transportation to Cardiff Medicentre.

By bus

Bus services between the city centre and the University Hospital of Wales site run on a regular basis. Please see Cardiff Bus for further information.

By train

The nearest mainline station is Cardiff Central, about a 20 minute drive from Cardiff Medicentre. We recommend either taking a taxi or bus to Cardiff Medicentre from Cardiff Central. There is a local station nearby, Heath High Level, approximately a 15 minute walk, however this involves changing at Central and trains are not always regular.
