Dŵr Cymru Welsh Water
Our long-standing history of collaboration with Dŵr Cymru Welsh Water was formalised in July 2022 by a strategic partnership agreement between Wales’ biggest research university and the only not-for-profit utility company in Wales and England.
The Memorandum of Understanding sets out to pump-prime projects which have the potential to deliver ambitious outcomes at scale across strategic themes, boosting the number of directly funded consultancy projects and research collaborations and leveraging significant external funding via sponsors such as the Ofwat Challenge fund, UKRI and Horizon Europe.
Interested staff from both DCWW and the University are invited to join a vibrant network facilitated by the Partnership steering commitee. Network members gain access to a directory and support to develop projects; exchange knowledge; and enrich both staff and student experiences through training, projects and placements.
