We offer a selection of part-time and full-time courses in law, government and politics.

Postgraduate taught courses

We offer an MSc Econ Welsh Government and Politics, convened by Professor Richard Wyn Jones.

This degree can be taken full-time or part-time, with lectures scheduled outside of the normal working day for the convenience of individuals working full-time.

We also offer an LLM in Governance and Devolution, convened by Professor Dan Wincott, which can also be taken on a full-time or part-time basis.

Postgraduate research programmes

We are passionate about identifying and working with talented young researchers. Our academic staff are experienced in the supervision and examination of research degrees, and welcome enquiries and applications for study.

Pathway to an undergraduate degree

The Politics and International Relations pathway is made up of six 10-credit modules.

It is equivalent to 50% of the first year of a degree, and is intended to provide students with the skills and knowledge needed to study a degree in International Relations and Politics at the University.

This course is delivered through the University’s Continuing and Professional Education.

Training courses

We are able to design bespoke training courses in politics, policy and law for professional organisations.
