Continuing Professional Development (CPD)

Courses and workshops for learning and teaching staff

The Cardiff Learning and Teaching Academy (LT Academy) host Continuing Professional Development (CPD) events open to all staff, including those supporting online and blended learning.

These workshops are framed around key themes and principles embedded in our Education Development toolkit. The sessions are led by staff with broad pedagogical expertise and will be practice focused and enhancement led.

Our CPD programme complements our Advance HE accredited Education Fellowships Programme and are mapped to the UK Professional Standards Framework (UK PSF).

How to book

The full 2024/2025 programme is available for staff to view on the Courses and Workshops for Academic Staff page and workshops are bookable on Microsoft Forms. Your attendance will be updated on the HR System and will be visible on your training record. On the form, please choose the course you wish to attend, which will then give you the dates available for you to book. Please complete a new form for each workshop.
