Next Step Award

If you participated in our Step Up scheme, and have a household income below £35,000, you may be eligible for our Next Step Bursary.

Eligibility

Students who come to Cardiff University who have participated in the University’s Widening Participation Scheme, Step Up, and whose household income is below £35,000.

Amount awarded

You may receive either a £1,000 Cardiff University residency fee discount or a £500 travel bursary in your first year. These payments may be made in addition to the Cardiff University Bursary.
