Results
After you've applied you might need to wait until you receive your exam results before we can confirm your place.
If you’re studying through the WJEC awarding body, you may receive provisional results in June, ahead of the official release of results on 10 August. As these results are only provisional, we cannot use them to make any official offers or confirm any decisions.
What your results mean
Once you have your final exam results, you will be in one of these positions:
You have met or exceeded the conditions of your offer
Congratulations! You've got your results and you are ready to embark on the next stage of your academic career. Providing you satisfy the terms of your offer in full by 31 August, your place will be confirmed on UCAS track.
We have discretion in confirming decisions which are dependent on results submitted after this date, including improved grades arising from an awarding body appeal. If a programme is full at 31 August, we may make an offer of deferred entry instead.
Once we have confirmed your offer via UCAS track, we will write to you to officially welcome you to the University and provide any further information you need.

You are accepted by us as your insurance choice
If you do not meet the conditions set by your firm choice, but fully meet the conditions set by us by 31 August as your insurance choice, your place will be confirmed on UCAS Track.
We have discretion in confirming decisions which are dependent on results submitted after this date, including improved grades arising from an awarding body appeal. If a programme is full at 31 August, we may make an offer of deferred entry instead.
Once we have confirmed your offer via UCAS track, we will write to you to officially welcome you to the University and provide any further information you need.

Your results do not meet the conditions of any of your choices
If you do not meet the conditions of any of the offers you have accepted the universities you have chosen may not offer you a place. You will automatically be entered into clearing. For further information, please visit the UCAS website.
Changes to your results
It is very important that you notify us of any new or amended results. We will confirm your place if you satisfy the conditions of your offer by 31 August.
