Graduates from this course will have a breadth and depth of cancer-focused training that will make them credible candidates to start or further a career within the health sector or research establishments.

Part time blended learning

A key qualification for hospital pharmacy clinical career advancement, the programme enjoys funding from the NHS and is supported by Associate Course Directors across Wales and experienced work-based tutors at accredited hospital sites.

Postgraduate taught programmes for qualified pharmacists:

Pharmacist Independent Prescribing

The course aims to provide Pharmacists with Independent Prescriber status to make the very best use of your skills to give patients quicker and more efficient access to medicines. The programme, run alongside nurses, midwives and other allied healthcare professionals, offers the opportunity for multidisciplinary learning.  The course is comprised of a series of study days, self directed learning, assessments and supervised time with a Designated Medical Practitioner to build a prescribing portfolio.
