Due to the very recent revalidation of our economics degree programmes, ahead of our Open Day, we wanted to make you aware of entry requirement changes which will affect the following programmes:

For September 2025 entry onwards, all of the above programmes will require A-level Mathematics at a grade B or above. Students not taking A-level Mathematics will not be eligible for entry onto these programmes.

Journalism, media and culture

The School of Journalism, Media and Culture is located opposite Cardiff Central Train Station, approximately 20-30 minutes walk from the Cathays Park Campus. A direct train to Cathays is available from Cardiff Central (2 stops). If you are travelling by train, you may wish to plan your day in advance and consider visiting the School on arrival at Cardiff Central, or on your return to the station.
