Directions to the university can be found in our visitor information.

On your arrival, please make your way to the Centre for Student Life (CF10 3BB), where you can check-in at the event and collect a programme.

The Centre for Student Life is a short walk from the city centre which boasts lots of cafes and restaurants for you to get something to eat.

Accessibility

If you, or any member of your party have special requirements that arise as a result of a disability, medical condition or specific learning difficulty, please contact our Student Disability team in advance to discuss your needs.

Student Connect

Parking will be made available for visitors with mobility difficulties. Full details and directions will be sent out by email to the address provided on the booking form before the event.

You may wish to know that an accessible minibus is on-call throughout the day. To access this facility, please contact a member of staff at the welcome reception marquee in the Main Building car park. In addition, a limited number of wheelchairs will be available from Main Building on the day if required.

If you have any queries regarding provision for students with a disability, medical condition or specific learning difficulty, or access to grants and support, please visit the Student Finance and Student Support drop-in sessions at the event.

You may wish to look at the campus accessibility information so that you can plan your route around the university buildings in advance.

General information

Wifi

Free Wifi is available for visitors to use. Simply connect to ‘CU-OpenDay’ and follow the registration process.

Lost property

Please report any items of lost property to staff on the registration desk or security staff.

Quiet rooms

Quiet rooms are available for visitors to use in the Centre for Student Life, Rooms 4.12 and 4.13.

If Open Day is postponed or cancelled, we will notify you by email using the address that you provided on the registration form. Should we have to cancel/ postpone the event, we will be unable to reimburse visitors for travel, hotel and other associated costs.
