Entry requirements for Brunei
Our entry requirements will vary depending on your level of study, the course you are interested in and your English language proficiency.
Undergraduate courses
You will be required to have the Cambridge General Certificate of Education Advanced (GCE A-Level) to be considered for Cardiff University's undergraduate courses.
You will also be considered if you have the International Baccalaureate (IB) or BTEC qualification.
Postgraduate taught courses
If you have completed a good first degree, you will be considered for admission on to a one-year master's degree. Cardiff University generally requires a 2:1 classification or above.
Postgraduate research courses
If you are applying for research courses from Brunei, you will be required to provide evidence that you have already carried out research, usually via the successful completion of a relevant master's degree.
You will be required to have a relevant bachelor's degree from a recognised institution with a good GPA and possibly also a relevant master's course from a recognised institution.
English language
A relevant English language qualification is also required — if you have a grade C or above at GCSE level this is usually sufficient.
