Academic English Skills for International Students

Studying in a new academic environment can be challenging, especially when English is not your first language.

Our English Language Programmes’ team are here to make your transition smoother.

We offer free classes, workshops and personalised one-to-one tutorials to international students. We aim to help you develop your English and provide you with the necessary skills for successful academic study in the UK.

One-to-one tutorials

You can sign up for some free one-to-one tutorials with an English tutor to ask for advice about your writing and speaking skills, or other issues related to English language.

The English Language Support classes and one-to-one tutorials were amazing! They were very engaging, supportive tutors, and as an international student, it’s where I learnt how the UK education system works.
