The F-Scan sensors (insoles) are positioned within the participants shoe. Each sensor is made up of 960 individual pressure sensing locations, allowing measurement of in-shoe foot pressure. The participant wears a wireless unit at their waist and aquisition cuff units attached above each ankle which link to the insole sensors. F-Scan sensors are disposable with a finite lifespan. The scale of the research activity would determine the number of sensors required.
