Flow Cytometry FACSverse
The FACSverse has three lasers enabling three colours to be analysed at the same time without compensation. Alternatively eight colours can be imaged at the same time with compensation, which is relatively easy with this machine once the beads have been set up.
The FACSFlow and basic beads are provided for users as well as FLOWJO software for analysis.
The BD FACSVerse optical system features a compact optical bench, miniaturized detection optics, and memory chips integrated in the filter/mirror units to automate configuration detection. The compact optical system uses free-space lasers to concentrate intensity at the flow cell. It is designed to minimize light loss and maximize resolution for multicolor applications.

Training and support
New users must have an induction from Kathy Taylor and/or Rhian Thomas before they can use the machine.
