Fee assessment process

Find out what tuition fees you are liable to pay.

For us to correctly assess your fee status, please complete and return the questionnaire to admissions-advice@cardiff.ac.uk.

Please ensure that all appropriate sections of the questionnaire have been completed in full, and that copies of any supporting documentation are included, to help prevent delays with your assessment.

We aim to make a decision on your fee status within two weeks of receiving the completed form and evidence.

Documentation requirements

If you are seeking asylum in the UK, please provide a copy of both sides of your application registration card (ARC) when returning this questionnaire. Find out more about support for asylum seekers.

Proof of nationality
  • A scan/photo of your passport photo page
  • A certificate of registration confirming your status as a British citizen
Proof of immigration status
Proof of relationship to a relevant family member
  • Marriage certificate/civil partnership schedule
  • Birth/adoption certificate
Evidence of temporary absence
  • Temporary work contract(s) showing the start and end date of employment.
  • Details of all return trips to the UK, including the reason for your visit and where you stayed.
  • Details of any property owned in the UK
