Governance Committee
The Governance Committee is a Major Committee of the University Council.
It advises and makes recommendations to Council on matters relating to the governance structure and framework of the university.
It ensures compliance with mandatory requirements of legislation and other regulations that apply to the university. It also has oversight of legal and constitutional matters, including the Charter, Statutes and Ordinances.
The Governance Committee also oversees the nomination and appointment of the Chair, Vice-Chair and lay members of the Council, including keeping under review the composition of the Council, and arrangements for induction, development and annual review.

- Open Research Integrity and Ethics Sub-Committee (a joint committee with Senate)
