Fee: £2,495
Applications open: 27 January 2025
Important: do not make any travel/visa preparations until your application has been accepted and you have made payment. Not all applicants will be successful.

1. You may wish to have a video call with the lead academic/CPD Unit before submitting your application. Please email train@cardiff.ac.uk to organise this.
2. Send us a 500 word personal statement and your CV to train@cardiff.ac.uk.
Your personal statement should include:
- Why you want to apply
- What attracts you to the theme: Leading through innovation
- Your work experience and responsibilities.
3. We will inform successful applicants on 7 April 2025. Do not make any travel/visa preparations before this date because not all applicants will be successful.
4. If you are offered a place on the programme, we will ask you to complete payment online.
Your place is not confirmed until payment has been received.
What is included
Your fee includes the one-week programme tuition, daily refreshments during the programme (and lunch on teaching days only), learning materials, company visits, official social and cultural activities and excursions.
Flights, transfers, accommodation, food/drinks other than stated above are not included in the fee. You will need to arrange your own transport and accommodation, as well as visas (as applicable).

The programme team
Lead academic
Dr Saloomeh Tabari, MBA Programme Director, Cardiff Business School, leads the Executive Education Summer School programme. She is an expert in Marketing and Strategy and a Fellow of Higher Education Academy (FHEA). Her research interests include consumer research, intercultural communication, cultural intelligence, and marketing through the use of qualitative methods.
CPD Unit
The Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Unit has extensive experience in developing and delivering leadership programmes with higher education institutions worldwide. Read more about our work across the university and our commitment to customer service excellence.
Led by Clare Sinclair, this team will organise this programme, and administer bookings and payments.
Jessica Gasson and Phil Swan will be your main contacts during the programme, and will also organise pastoral care.
