Online courses

We have developed several online medical CPD courses, which are designed for practitioners from across the world to be able to access to further develop your knowledge, deepen your understanding and enhance your skills.

For example, our online Dermoscopy courses are very highly regarded, and often over-subscribed. These 12-16 week online courses are designed specifically for doctors (and specialist nurses) who are involved in the care of dermatology patients with skin lesions, and who wish to learn about dermoscopy to improve their skill in the diagnosis of melanoma.

These courses offer the opportunity to learn flexibly, in your own time, and to gain insights into the latest techniques from international experts in the field. The courses are also designed to allow delegates to experience live interactive expert lectures, and to work and learn collaboratively with peers from across the world in group discussion forums led by expert tutors.

Bespoke programmes

We also offer teaching skills programmes, such as the Innovative Teaching Practice programme. We worked closely with Xuzhou Medical University (China) to tailor a 3-month residential programme for a delegation of 16 medical academics. The programme also included opportunities for the delegates to spend time observing leading Cardiff University academics in relevant disciplines.
