TeraHertz instrumentation for security applications

The Astronomy Instrumentation Group has successfully combined its key enabling technologies to develop state-of-the-art cameras for next-generation security applications.

Combining our unique technologies including filters, detectors, cryogenic systems and novel scanning optics, in the development of these cameras, we have demonstrated their use in both airport and border security environments. A spin-out company, Sequestim Ltd. has now been launched to commercialise this technology.
