Cosmology with the Microwave Background
The Cosmic Microwave Background (CMB) is a unique source of information about the Universe’s origin, composition and evolution.
Tracing this light across space and time we uncover the history of the whole cosmos and the laws that govern it. Sourced by the continuous interplay of accurate theory with increasingly sensitive data, the CMB has been the driving force in establishing our standard cosmological model and holds huge potential for future discoveries.
