Here’s what your students will experience:

  • Building a space company: They'll brainstorm a unique name and design a logo for their very own space company, capturing the essence of their mission.
  • Satellite design: Using special Lego kits, students will construct a satellite that can fit within a Lego Saturn V rocket, ensuring it meets specific scientific objectives and budget constraints.
  • Exploring space technology: Students will learn about the significant role satellites play in our daily lives, looking at global companies, including recent UK satellite launches.
  • Environmental awareness: The workshop will also cover the environmental impact of rocket launches and introduce reusable satellite technology, highlighting the importance of protecting space.

Inspire your students to become future tech innovators with our engaging Generation Tech workshop. This two hour, hands-on experience is perfect for students in years 5 to 8. The workshop is designed to spark curiosity and passion for technology through real-world applications and teamwork.

Here’s what your students will dive into:

  • Interactive exploration: Students will work with fascinating devices, including infrared cameras, mobile phones, GPS systems, and microscopes, giving them a first-hand look at technology in action.
  • Collaborative challenges: They'll team up with classmates to solve fun, practical challenges, building teamwork and problem-solving skills.
  • Career pathways: Students will get a glimpse into the world of microchip technology, learning about exciting career opportunities and the crucial role these tiny components play in everyday devices.

Students will discover that microchips are produced right here in the UK—bringing technology even closer to home! Join us for an adventure that connects the classroom with the tech world and inspires your students to explore new possibilities.

Take your students on a captivating journey through the cosmos with our Tactile Universe workshops, tailored for years 4 to 8. These two-hour sessions bring space to life through interactive learning and hands-on activities, making it an unforgettable experience for all students.

Here’s what they’ll discover:

  • Hands on learning: Engage in exciting activities that bring the universe to life.
  • Discover the scale of the universe: Discover the vastness of the Universe and the huge distances between the planets in out own Solar System.
  • Explore galaxy shapes: Learn about the Milky Way and other types of galaxies

Our workshops are designed with accessibility in mind, ensuring that visually impaired students can fully participate and enjoy the experience. You have the flexibility to book one or both workshops, and we also offer a materials loan option so that students can continue exploring at school.

Introduce your students to the hidden wonders of the universe with our one-hour workshop on Revealing The Hidden Universe—a perfect fit for all year groups, from primary to secondary school. This workshop combines hands-on activities with captivating insights into the science of the unseen. Here’s what your students will explore:

  • Hands-on experiments: Students will get to use infrared cameras and understand how they reveal details invisible to the naked eye.
  • Exploring the electromagnetic spectrum: They’ll learn about the different types of radiation that make up the electromagnetic spectrum and see how these tools help scientists study the universe.
  • Revealing cosmic secrets: Through infrared technology, students will discover how we find new stars, planets, and galaxies beyond what we can normally see.

This workshop is an exciting way for students to deepen their understanding of science while uncovering the invisible layers of our universe.
