Overview

Rawindaran Nair is a Lecturer in the Logistics and Operations Management Section of the Cardiff Business School.

His subjects are International Shipping Economics, International Shipping Policy specialising on International Laws on Jurisdiction, Safety and Security Policies, Maritime Transport Operations and International Trade and Sea Carriage Law under the postgraduate MSc International Transport and MSc Maritime Policy and Shipping Management programmes of the School.

He is presently the Director of the Fundamentals of Liner Shipping programme of the Lloyd's Maritime Academy, Visiting Fellow of the Maritime Institute of Malaysia, and as External Tutor in the Economics of Sea Transport Module of the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers, London. His research interest includes the economics, law and regulatory framework of the global shipping industry. This includes research in areas concerning maritime perspectives in the container liner shipping industry.
