Overview

I am delighted to be playing a role in coordinating and promoting activities around the South Wales compound semiconductor cluster.

Cardiff University is the lead partner in the UKRI funded Strength in Places programme, CSconnected, that shines a spotlight on a region's strengths and capabilities.

Wales is home to the World's first compound semiconductor community that develops, designs and manufactures advanced electronic and photonic devices that enable a wide range of global technologies such as high speed connectivity, healthcare technologies, automation and applications for achieving net-zero.

I look forward to making a positive contribution that will help drive the growth in highly-skilled, high-value jobs across the region over the coming years.
