Overview
Unlocking the mysteries of the brain
My research is dedicated to developing and applying advanced Diffusion-Weighted MR Spectroscopy (DW-MRS) sequences to uncover the specific morphologies of neuronal and glial cells. The findings of this research have the potential to shed new light on the underlying causes of devastating neurodegenerative conditions such as Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, Huntington's Disease and Multiple Sclerosis, all of which are assumed to be association with neuroinflammation. By investigating this association, my work offers new opportunities to study neuroinflammatory processes and identify novel biomarkers that could lead to earlier diagnosis and treatment.
