Overview
Rhian joined the institution in August 2013 having previously worked for Tata Steel Europe undertaking a key HR Business Partner leadership role on the Port Talbot, Llanelli and Llanwern Steelworks. She is an experienced HR Business Partner who has worked in the private, public and not for profit sectors, for organisations such as Gwalia Housing, South Wales Magistrates' Courts and Orange.
Rhian works closely with the College leadership teams to diagnose and define the people and organisational plans to meet the University and College objectives. Rhian is responsible for delivering innovative solutions to complex issues as well as providing strategic and operational advice and guidance. Rhian is also accountable for ensuring that the College HR team deliver a professional service to all staff within the College. Rhian works in collaboration with the senior management in the College, Schools and central University to shape, guide and deliver an effective and consistent service to all.
