Overview
I am a clinician (Endocrinologist) and I awarded a PhD in molecular endocrinology last June 2016: I have been trained in both clinical and basic research, with particular focus on thyroid diseases. I have also had exposure to undergraduate teaching, in particular as a facilitator for medical students (Year 1-2) in case-based learning lessons (C21 programme). I have also been involved in UG medic assessments. My long-term goal for my scientific career is to become an independent investigator at a leading academic institution, expert in the field of thyroid autoimmunity.
