My PhD research builds on existing research in the development of ammonia-based combustion systems, especially in the context of gas turbine combustion. Sub-topics of interest include:
- Laminar flame emissions and fundamental flame behavior
- Validation of chemical reaction mechanisms
- Evaluation and improvement of numerical methods towards modeling ammonia/hydrogen blends
