Overview
Aland Yarden Escudero Ornelas is a PhD student in the in High-Value Manufacturing Group within the Cardiff School of Engineering (2021-2023). His research interest broadly centres on microtextured surfaces, manufacturing technologies, materials, machine learning and other industry 4.0 technologies.
His bachelor's degree is in Industrial Engineering from the Tecnológico Nacional de Mexico Campus Pachuca. He obtained his MSc in Manufacturing Systems Engineering and Management in the University of Warwick, UK (2017-2018) sponsored by The Mexican National Council on Science and Technology (CONACYT).
His working experience includes:
Professor in the Tecnológico Nacional de México Campus Pachuca, Centro Universitario Continental and Universidad Siglo XXI.
Control engineer in the manufacturing department of a glass manufacturing company (2014-2015).
Manufacturing engineer in an automotive industry production line of electronic steering systems (2013-2014).
