Overview

I hold a Bachelor of Veterinary Science degree from the University of Bristol, and a Master’s in Molecular Microbiology from the University of Bath. I previously worked as a small animal veterinary surgeon and more recently worked in grant funding at the BBSRC.

Research

Research interests

My research interests are diagnostics and surveillance of bovine TB in cattle and wildlife.

I am part of the OneZoo CDT, funded by MRC, NERC and BBSRC.

Thesis

Diagnostics and Surveillance of bovine TB in cattle and wildlife in Borneo

I will be working on developing novel field-based diagnostics for detection of bovine TB, and then using this in Wales before taking it out to Borneo to carry out TB surveillance.
