I began my PhD at CCMRC in October 2014. I graduated in Rome (Italy) with a Master's degree in Genetics and Molecular Biology. For my thesis I spent two years studying microRNAs as biomarkers for cancer. Then I moved to Liverpool, where I was involved in a project on muscle stem cells. My current work focuses on the epigenetic alteration of human circolating endothelial progenitor cells. I am very grateful to CCMRC for the opportunity they gave me to be a part of the team. I hope to apply my previous experience and improve my skills in the field of cancer research.
