This module examines the dynamic relationship between media, culture and society in contemporary Italy.
It explores how Italian the media landscape has evolved, the cultural values and norms reflected in media content and the societal impacts of media consumption and production.
Students will gain a nuanced understanding of the complex interplay between Italy's media industry, its cultural heritage, and the broader social transformations occurring within the country.
Taught through the medium of Italian.
Who is this course for?
This course is for students with advanced language skills (A-level or above) who have the ability to hold a general conversation in Italian.
The course will be taught through the medium of Italian.
Learning and teaching
The emphasis of the course is on participation and students are encouraged to actively participate in class through various non-threatening forms of activities designed to stimulate communication.

Listening test and class participation. Our assessments are flexible to suit the course and the student.
