Este curso está orientado a alumnos de Español de nivel avanzado.
El objetivo de este curso es mejorar la competencia del idioma al mismo tiempo que los alumnos obtienen nuevos conocimientos sobre temas culturales de España y Latinoamérica.
En concreto exploraremos el arte, el cine y la literatura de algunos países hispanohablantes. Pare este curso se utilizará variedad de recursos como recortes de prensa, lecturas, películas, noticias de televisión y documentales.
This course is aimed at Spanish Advanced Students.
The aim of this course is to improve language proficiency while students acquire new knowledge about cultural topics from Spain and Latin America.
Specifically, we will explore art, cinema and literature of some Spanish-speaking countries.
For this course we will use a variety of resources such as newspaper articles, books, films, television news and documentaries.
Topics will be presented in class and students will have the opportunity to practice their conversational skills and expand their vocabulary through discussions and conversation exercises.
In addition, students will have the opportunity to practice and improve their grammar concepts, vocabulary and speaking skills through both oral and written activities presented in class.
Who is this course for?
This course is aimed at advanced level students who wish to improve their aural and oral skills in Spanish. The course will be taught through the medium of Spanish.
Learning and teaching
The emphasis of the course is on participation and students are encouraged to actively participate in class through various non-threatening forms of activities designed to stimulate communication.

Coursework portfolio and class participation. Our assessments are flexible to suit the course and the student.
The most important element of assessment is that it should enhance your learning. Our methods are designed to increase your confidence and we try very hard to devise ways of assessing you that are enjoyable and suitable for adults with busy lives.
