El objetivo de este curso de español avanzado es mejorar la competencia del idioma al mismo tiempo que los alumnos obtienen nuevos sobre la actualidad de España y Latinoamérica a través de la prensa, noticias en televisión y documentales.
Trataremos temas variados de política, cultura, música y arte, cine, literatura, etc. Y los relacionaremos con el contexto histórico político que los envuelve.
Los temas se presentarán en clase y los estudiantes tendrán la posibilidad de practicar sus destrezas orales y ampliar su vocabulario a través de debates y ejercicios de conversación. Además, los estudiantes tendrán la oportunidad de practicar y mejorar sus conceptos gramaticales, vocabulario y destrezas orales mediante actividades tanto orales como escritas presentadas en clase.
The aim of this advanced Spanish course is to improve language skills and fluency while gain new insights into Spanish and Latin American current affairs through press articles, TV news and documentaries.
We will cover a variety of topics such as politics, culture, music and art, cinema, literature, and many others, linking them to the historical and political context that surrounds them.
The topics will be discussed in class and students will have the opportunity to practise their language skills and expand their vocabulary through debates and conversational exercises.
In addition, students will have the opportunity to improve their grammatical concepts, vocabulary and oral skills through both oral and written activities presented in class.
Who is this course for?
This course is aimed at advanced level students who wish to improve their aural and oral skills in Spanish. The course will be taught through the medium of Spanish.
Learning and teaching
The emphasis of the course is on participation and students are encouraged to actively participate in class through various non-threatening forms of activities designed to stimulate communication.
