Facilities and equipment
The Centre has a wide range of facilities, including an industry-standard 3D printing lab, with a wide range of advanced Additive Manufacturing process technologies.
We also have a visualisation space, which includes state-of-the-art virtual reality headsets to support our users in the design and virtual prototyping of repairs.
These advanced facilities are complemented by a well-stocked ‘workshop’, hosting a range of traditional tools and equipment, including woodworking, electrical repair and testing tools and industrial and domestic sewing machines.
Our focus is not on undertaking tasks that are already served by commercial organisations. Instead, we specialise as a facility dedicated to training, education, and engagement, equipped with a diverse array of industrial 3D printing technology.
