School of Pharmacy scoops four Green Impact Awards
11 July 2017
A dedicated team of staff at Cardiff University’s School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences has been recognised for their efforts in embedding sustainably into the University by winning four Green Impact awards this year.
The Green Impact Awards are part of an environmental accreditation scheme used by over 179 organisations ranging from students’ unions to NHS Trusts. It brings staff and students together to make simple and tangible changes within their campuses, curriculums and their community by completing an online workbook.
Staff and students within Cardiff’s School of Pharmacy have embraced this scheme and worked hard to make sustainability a key part of School life, earning them the following awards in recognition of their achievements:
Office Team – Gold Award
Laboratory Team – Gold Award
Justine Jenkins – Special Award – Innovation and Engagement
Pharmabees – Special Award - Community Action
The School continues to work in a sustainable way, creating the best possible space and community for everyone within it.
