What the papers say
12 June 2013
The Cardiff School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences is once again (2014) at the top of the Guardian league table for Pharmacy and Pharmacology; first out of 31. The last time we were top was in 2004; in the intervening years we have never been far away from this pinnacle but we are pleased to be acknowledged as number one again.
In the Times Good University Guide we are currently (2013 listing) ranked third within the table for Pharmacy and Pharmacology, although the top-ranked school in the list does not offer an undergraduate pharmacy programme, i.e. we are second among the schools of pharmacy.
Our advice about using league tables published by newspapers and other organisations is to look at more than one of them and look at more than one year. You will nearly always find us near the top, wherever and whenever you look.
