Lewis Oliva selected for Great Britain Cycling Team at the Track Cycling World Championships 2017

Track cyclist Lewis Oliva, has been selected to represent Great Britain Cycling Team at the UCI Track Cycling World Championships, which is taking place 12 – 16 April in Hong Kong.
Great Britain are sending a team of 20 riders to the championships, with Lewis one of six sprint cyclists and one of four Welsh riders selected.
Lewis is balancing studying Medicine as a full time student at Cardiff University whilst being a full time cyclist. He has had a busy couple of months competing at the UCI Track Cycling World Cups, most notably winning a bronze medal in Glasgow. Lewis also become National Keirin Champion at the British Track Cycling Championships held in Manchester at the end of January. The upcoming Championship is Lewis’s World Championships debut.
