Lunchtime walks

A new weekly lunchtime walking group is being launched by Cardiff University Sport as part of Sustainability Week 2012.

On Wednesday 31st October, staff can join the inaugural walk - a gentle hour-long stroll around the University campus. The walks will give staff an opportunity to visit parts of the University they may not be familiar with, as well as getting some light exercise.

The walk will begin at 12.30pm from the Cardiff University Fitness and Squash Centre on Senghennydd Road (next to the Students' Union) and will pause briefly to pick up other staff members on route. Staff wanting to join in should be at the designated pick up points at the times listed below.

To make the walk a more comfortable experience, staff are encouraged to wear footwear and clothing appropriate for walking and weather conditions.

Different routes, including longer ones will follow as the group develops.
