PEP funding information sessions

In the week beginning 23 January, City Region Exchange will be holding drop-in sessions for University colleagues who intend to apply for Pilot Engagement Project funding.
Established to support the University’s engagement in the Cardiff Capital Region, PEP makes available up to £5,000 per project for pilot projects that engage with communities, public authorities or firms in Cardiff and the surrounding area.
Potential applicants to the fund, which closes for Round 2 applications on 20 February, will be able to meet with CRE staff for further information and advice at one of six sessions to be held around the University:
College of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences
Tuesday 24 January, 10:00 - 11:00: Glamorgan Building coffee shop
Thursday 26 January, 12:00 - 13:00: John Percival Building coffee shop
College of Biomedical and Life Sciences
Wednesday 25 January, 12:00 - 13:00: Sir Martin Evans Building coffee shop
Thursday 26 January, 10:00 - 11:00: Neuadd Meirionnydd coffee shop
College of Physical Sciences and Engineering
Tuesday 24 January, 12:00 - 13:00: Bute Building coffee shop
Wednesday 25 January, 10:00 - 11:00: Main Building coffee shop
To coincide with the drop-in sessions, a poster exhibition of regional engagement projects drawn from across the University will be on display in the Viriamu Jones Gallery, Main Building from 23-26 January. The projects, which include a number of Round 1 PEP initiatives, were previously celebrated at the Partnering for Change showcase event in Cardiff Bay, sponsored by Vikki Howells AM.
