Inspired voices
15 October 2014
The Cardiff University Inspire Choir, which is made up of staff from across the institution is celebrating its first birthday with a free performance for staff and students.
The Choir will be holding a lunchtime performance on 21 October and they are inviting staff and students to come along and join in the celebrations.
The performance will start at 12.30pm in the Viriamu Jones Gallery in the Main Building. Refreshments will be served following the performance.
The Choir's chosen charity for the event will be Alzheimer's Research UK.
The Inspire Choir was established to encourage staff from across the University to connect with each other and as a way of encouraging staff to think about their wellbeing.
In its first year the Choir has performed at venues from St. David's Hall for Graduation 2014, to the Millennium Stadium for the opening ceremony of the Rugby League World Cup.
The Inspire Choir is always keen to recruit new members. If you fancy lending your voice to the Inspire Choir why not pop along to the Great Hall in the Students' Union on Tuesdays at 1pm. There is no need to audition - all you need is enthusiasm!
