Positive Health & Environment Week (PHEW) 2013 will be taking place over the fortnight Monday 1 July to Friday 12 July.

PHEW is an annual event that aims to encourage, support and develop the health and wellbeing of Cardiff University's employees, by offering a wide range of enjoyable and informative activities, taster sessions and talks, including sport and exercise activities, health checks, tours of local places of interest, arts and crafts, music and much more.

The full programme of PHEW activities will be published in May. In the meantime, please make a note of dates and let us know if you have any ideas about activities you would like to see included in the 2013 programme by emailing us at PHEW@cardiff.ac.uk

Staff Discounts Scheme - new-look website and Connections community

The Positive Working Environment (PWE) Staff Discounts Scheme offers members of staff the opportunity to enjoy discounts on the products and services of over 150 local and national organisations.

The Staff Discounts website has been revamped to make it easier for you to find the offers you are looking for. As well as an A-Z list of all the discount providers, you can now also search by category which includes food and drink, health and wellbeing, entertainment and leisure, travel and many more for you to browse through.

In addition to accessing the discounts available via the web-pages, you can be kept informed of any new discounts or additional short-term offers by joining the PWE Staff Discounts community on Connections.

Please note, if you had previously signed up the Staff Discounts mailing list, you should have already received notification that you have been made a member of this Connections community.
