You did it! School Graduation 2016
18 July 2016
The School of Computer Science & Informatics was delighted to celebrate our graduating students last week.
Our successful departing graduands donned their caps and gowns to attend the formal graduation ceremony at St David's Hall, before returning to the School one last time for a reception with their family, friends and staff.
A total of 128 undergraduate students achieved their BSc's in subjects including Computer Science, Business Information Systems and Software Engineering, and 45 postgraduate degrees were awarded to students studying the likes of Information Security and Privacy, and Computing and IT Management.
Students involved with the School's research activities also graduated, with 10 colleagues gaining a PhD.
Outstanding graduating students were also recognised in a prize giving ceremony as part of the School celebrations.
Our departing students have a bright future ahead, as latest figures from the Higher Education Statistics Agency (HESA) Destinations of Leavers from Higher Education show that Cardiff University graduates are among the most employable, with 94% in employment, study or both within six months of graduating.
Congratulations and good luck to everyone!
