National Student Survey results 2016

Overall satisfaction at the School of Geography and Planning has been rated at 92% in this year’s National Student Survey (NSS) of final year undergraduate students.
Published on 10th August 2016, the NSS has found that 92% of students at the School of Geography and Planning were satisfied with their overall experience and 91% were satisfied with academic support and teaching.
Conducted annually, the NSS asks undergraduates in their final year to rate their university experience in areas including teaching, academic support, organisation and learning resources.
In terms of academic support and teaching, the NSS revealed that 96% of the School’s students confirmed that they were able to contact staff when needed and 95% agreed that staff are good at explaining things
Head of School, Professor Paul Milbourne said: “This year’s results demonstrate our commitment to providing a high-quality student experience. We consistently achieve high ratings in the National Student Survey, and it’s a credit to staff who are dedicated to ensuring that students make the most of their time with us at the School of Geography and Planning.”
