Cardiff University graduate awarded bursary for transport and planning

BSc Geography and Planning graduate, Jack Rumbold has been awarded the prestigious Rees Jeffreys Bursary award to pursue an MSc in Transport and Planning at Cardiff University.
The Rees Jeffreys Road Fund provides support for education and research in transport; and helps fund projects that improve the roadside environment for motorists and other road users. The trustees of the fund were very impressed with Jack’s application and awarded him £10,000 to pursue an MSc in Transport and Planning in the School of Geography and Planning.
Speaking about the award, Course Director Dr Dimitris Potoglou said: “I’m thrilled to see Jack rewarded for his hard work and excellent application to the Rees Jeffreys Bursary Award. The field for this award was stronger than ever this year, with more applicants than previous years, Jack’s award is well deserved. I look forward to him joining us on the MSc Transport and Planning course later this year.”
