Royal seal of approval in Queen's honours list

Professor Malcolm Lewis

Congratulations to Professor Malcolm Lewis of the School of Postgraduate Medical and Dental Education (Wales Deanery) who has been awarded an OBE for services to medical education, having made this year's Queen's Birthday Honours list.

The honour is in recognition of Professor Lewis's extensive contribution to Medical Education not only in Wales but as chair of the conference of GP Directors and all the work and he undertook for the GMC.

He has worked as a GP in Swansea since 1988 and is currently Director of General Practice Postgraduate Education at the School of Postgraduate Medical and Dental Education (Wales Deanery).
