Tour the Student High Street with Stephen Fry
5 September 2013
Author, actor and comedian Stephen Fry is helping new and returning students find out more about how they can look after their health, wellbeing and boost their employability.
An Honorary Fellow of the University, Stephen narrates and stars in three short animations that introduce students to the services and facilities they can find along the Student High Street.
Located on Park Place, the Student High Street is a one stop location pointing students in the direction of, amongst others: the Student Support Centre which provides professional advice and guidance; the IT Service Desk; the Chaplaincies; the University Health Centre; the Students' Union; and a 24-hour security office.
Head of Student Advisory Services, Ben Lewis said: "The services along the Student High Street are invaluable and will really help our students make the most of their time at Cardiff. We hope that the new animation, along with the branding will help raise awareness of what's available to students and ensure they get the very best university experience."
The services along the High Street are available to all students. At the Heath Park campus, students also benefit from a Student Support Centre at Cardigan House and the Heath Hub - the Students' Union's satellite base.
