RemakerSpace launches sustainability training to boost business innovation

30 September 2024

RemakerSpace, a hub for circular economy innovation, has launched a new training programme to help businesses enhance their sustainability practices.

The workshops, now open for enrolment, are designed to equip professionals across industries - engineers, designers, business leaders, entrepreneurs, and more - with the skills to integrate sustainable practices into their operations.

Through fostering creativity and innovation and covering a wide range of topics, including circular economy principles, sustainable design, and innovative problem-solving techniques, these courses are set to transform the way businesses operate.

Delivered by a multidisciplinary team of academics, practitioners, and technical experts, these sessions will provide attendees with the expertise and skills to excel in 3D printing and sustainable manufacturing practices. Participants will also have access to RemakerSpace’s state-of-the-art facilities, based in sbarc|spark, Cardiff University’s Social Science Research Park.

Rebecca Travers, Centre Manager at RemakerSpace, said: “We are delighted to offer these training programmes to organisations looking to make a positive impact on the environment and drive innovation within their teams. Our goal is to empower businesses to adopt sustainable practices that not only benefit the planet but also enhance their competitive edge.”

This launch marks a significant milestone for RemakerSpace in its mission to promote sustainability and innovation across various industries.

RemakerSpace was founded with support from the Welsh Government Circular Economy Capital Fund and a significant contribution from Cardiff Business School.
