A brand-new home for Lifelong Learning
15 April 2024
We are thrilled to deliver our spring courses from our new building.
Cardiff University has delivered part-time courses for adults since it was founded in 1883 and now 140 years later we are delighted to launch our new home to help us continue our mission to promote higher education for the benefit of all.
Our new building is low carbon with air source heat pumps and solar panels. It will provide comfortable work, study and teaching facilities and we aim to establish the perfect environment to welcome and encourage students who may have been away from a classroom for a long time. This modern facility will both inspire and support our students in their part-time education and pathways to a degree studies.
We have also returned to a name that may well be familiar to some of our longer-standing students and colleagues. Continuing and Professional Education has now reverted to Lifelong Learning. Despite going through several changes in our identity, Lifelong Learning has always been at the heart of what we do and we’re very pleased to be returning to that name.
Cardiff University students and staff may enrol on a part-time course and pay the concessionary fee.
You will find us at 50-51 Park Place. More details on our courses can be found here.
