McAllister elected to UEFA Executive Committee

Laura McAllister, Professor of Public Policy and part of Cardiff University’s Wales Governance Centre, has been elected to UEFA Executive Committee at the governing body’s 47^th Congress in Lisbon, Portugal.

The former Wales national team captain is currently co-chair of the Independent Commission on the Constitutional Future of Wales, and also remains a key academic in the WGC.

Her achievement is a first for a Welsh candidate on UEFA’s governing body, where she will now begin a four-year term, also serving as the first ever woman Vice-President of the association.
