Catalan representative visits Governance Centre

A leading official from Catalonia visited Cardiff University’s Wales Governance Centre as part of his first visit to the nation.

Mr Francesc Claret, Representative of the Government of Catalonia to the United Kingdom and Ireland, received presentations from Richard Wyn Jones, Ed Poole and James Griffiths covering a raft of issues of common interest to the two autonomous countries.

The history of devolution, the work of the Wales Fiscal Analysis programme, and comparative data from the Welsh Election Study were all shared with the Representative and his team.
