Video: What is happening in Scotland and Wales?

The Hiraeth Podcast and Cardiff University’s Wales Governance Centre joined forces to bring the journalists Gerry Hassan and Will Hayward to Cardiff city centre for a live discussion on the challenges facing independence movements in Scotland and Wales.

Jess Blair, director of Electoral Reform Society Cymru, steered the discussion around topics including the key questions independence campaigners need to answer, and the prospects for reforming the UK.

Professor Richard Wyn Jones also spoke at the event on the state of intergovernmental relations in the UK, including an initial reaction to Gordon Brown’s constitutional report for the Labour party. This is available on Spotify here.
